Vodafone + Nexus One = pants MMS
As per the title really, i have upgraded from a PAYG to Contract to get the Nexus One Phone.
Numerous issues, with being told that I would get a 1gb data allowance when it had been set at 500mb.
Anyway, I have set up the phone as per the online guide on vodafone and MMS still does not work, I have spent ages on the phone to support to be told that 2nd line would call me back. They did not.
So I called back today and again spent ages on the land line as the reception is so poor in my house that i cannot get a dnam signal unless I camp out by the back door. Got through to second line support and they said they had changed something and to reboot the phone and wait 30 minutes.
Did so.
Still no dice.
Seriously think I was batter off on PAYG, everything just worked with my old Nokia 6303c, and after reading that I had 28 days to change my mind on here I now actually find out it is 7.
So. After this debacle, I will hike out to the local Vodafone store to see if they can get to the bottom of it, if they cannot sort the phone out and get it working (because i cannot keep calling 08700 numbers via my land line) I will be back on the phone to return and cancel - not fit for purpose under SOGA.
Pretty bad really since my partner really liked my new phone and was considering getting one and taking advantage of my alleged 'gold' customer status and sacking off T-Mobile to join Vodafone on my bill.
Anyone else have this issue withe the Nexus One?

There you go, cross posted from Vodafone Eforum, they do not know thier ass from thier elbow. Cannot even get an upgrade and data levels right.
But if anyone has some advice / help... mucho appriciated.
