Phone Coverage 3 v's O2

Hi all

I have seen a phone the THC Desire which looks really good.

Only problem was it was from three.co.uk and the coverage is borderline.

If I buy the phone with a different network like 02 would all the functions the internet / Google maps be the same?

have a look on o2's website to see what the reception is in your area

I know a place where there's supposed to be full reception on 02, but there isn't. you just can't get a connection at all. not even to make a call.

I've had 3 for nearly two years with very few issues

3's network coverage has improved vastly over the last few months go to the 3 website about network coverage in your area.

3 have a much wider 3G coverage than any other network and internet speed is much faster, Orange is not! trust me. O2 on the other hand has a 3G coverage of a miserable 55%.

3's 2G coverage is provided by Orange and has virtually the same network coverage as O2 2G.

So to be honest if its high speed internet and HD voice your after,3 is the one.
