Connecting laptop to PAYG mobile.
With the holiday season rapidly approaching I need a bit of help.
I will take my lappy on my hols (UK), but the camp I'm going to doesn't have any internet connection.
Can I connect my SE W910i PAYG (Orange) phone to my lappy (XP MCE) so that I can check my emails (jobs) I can use either bluetooth or USB?
Are they any simple intructions to do this

Re: Connecting laptop to PAYG mobile.
Cheers, I can now access the web.
But what about Outlook?
That doesn't seem to work. I guess I need to tell Outlook to use the phone.

Re: Connecting laptop to PAYG mobile.
I cannot see where Outlook is told to used BB.
There must me some where it can be told to use the phone as a modem?
It seems to me that SE PC Suite only connects to the web, I can use webmail, but on 10 accounts this will take a while.

Re: Connecting laptop to PAYG mobile.
You can do it when you have installed Sony Erricson suite on your laptop, however, have you got permission to do that from Orange?
Usually they'll add a special bundle or you maybe better off using a mobile broadband dongle, go to the Orange website and click on Mobile Broadband, click on Pay As You Go and look at the options available or contact Orange on 150 (Or 450 if you are a Pay As You Go user) and ask what discounted options are available with your existing Service Plan for being an existing Orange Customer.
When you access or use Mobile Internet from a mobile phone handset, there are Fair Usage policies that come with it,and if you exceed them, they will slow down the speed to stop you over using the service.

Re: Connecting laptop to PAYG mobile.
Have you tried connecting directly from Windows to see if that lets you? The SE software should have added a Dial Up connection to your connection options, if you connect through that does it allow you to? Screenshot of what I mean provided

Re: Connecting laptop to PAYG mobile.
I've done it I used the SE suite to connect to the internet, then I ran outlook, I downloaded all my emails. (about .5MB)
I then checked my and it the same balance as before, so if needed I can check my emails on line.
