Fire at BT Paddington site
A fire is knocking out telephone lines in BT's Paddington site, Burne House. Many carriers and providers are having problems with some calls going through and many others engaged, due to the re-routing of calls and services.

Re: Fire at BT Paddington site
I had a conference call with some BT people from BT Tower today, they all had to use their mobiles as they only got engaged tones on the landlines.

Re: Fire at BT Paddington site
If you are an ADSL user in Maryebolne or in Euston, expect no broadband as well, everyone round here is complaining of having no broadband

Most of the "important" circuits have been back up since yesterday. I wonder how long all the residential stuff is going to take to bring back up!
