Question for any BT people out there

Hi guys,

We've been looking at some 2nd hand Panasonic CF-P2's for using out in North Africa and we noticed that both British Gas and BT had these issued to engineers. Well the BG ones have recently popped up on auction and are flooding ebay with everyone saying that they are WiFi enabled.. But according to the manufacturer the BG ones are not Wifi Enabled (we have confirmed this) but the BT issued ones are..

So my questions are

1# Is BT still using these?
2# If yes then is there a date for phasing them out? (just so we can keep track on the auctions)
3# If no then anyone know where they went to??
