O2 Revamped Simplicity Tariffs
See here for tariffs: http://shop.o2.co.uk/simplicity-12
Here for more info: http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2010/02...tariff_revamp/
There are now 1 month and 12 month options for four phone types:
- Standard phones
- Smartphones
- iPhones
- Blackberrys
They seem really reasonable actually however, something very interesting. If you take any smartphone tariff you get unlimited data and x amount of minutes and unlimited texts. However, pick an iPhone tariff, at exactly the same price point, you get exactly the same number of inclusive minutes and texts, but they also get free wi-fi.
How does that work?

Re: O2 Revamped Simplicity Tariffs
Oh right. Didn't think that would have applied to a SIM only deal. Cheers Damien!
Not looking so attractive now that MMS has been removed from your allowance apparently...

Re: O2 Revamped Simplicity Tariffs
It's what I got my lad for his Blackberry - Simplicity 20 (12 month).
£20 per month for 1600 texts, 800 minutes, and Blackberry UK unlimited.

Re: O2 Revamped Simplicity Tariffs
I like the trend to sim only deals, My next iPhone might be handset only and stick my current iPhone Simplicity sim in there. It's rolling month to month so I can change carrier at any time and change phone at any time. The way it should be

Hmm. Conflicting info then. If they're 20p each, why would the same page say "Your inclusive text allowance can be used for UK text, picture, video or roaming messages. 1 picture or video texts sent is equivalent to 4 text messages."

Re: O2 Revamped Simplicity Tariffs
There were comments posted on the O2 forum that MMS were being removed from the inclusive bundle and that the webpages hadn't been updated correctly.
Personally the current £20 tariff I'm on seems better value...I don't think I'd have much use for unlimited texts
