T Mobile and 3G
Does it have it and would it be included in the standard web and walk add on?
Reason I ask is I have a HTC HD2 which was branded T Mobile and there was no option in Comm settings for 3G but I have just flashed it with a cooked rom and now there is a 3G setting appeared under comms
Obviously I dont want to enable it and find myself fleeced lol

Re: T Mobile and 3G
T-Mobile and Hutchison 3G (3 Mobile) in the UK recently merged there 3G infrastructures to give 3 and T-Mobile customers 92% of the population 3G coverage.
No mobile networks charge more for using 3G reception, so those using 2G handsets are practically paying the same as those using 3G but don't get all the benefits, so they are technically being undercut.
Here is what O2,Orange,T-Mobile,Vodafone,three and Virgin offer:
Basic Voice and texts: 2G and 3G
Video messaging: 2G and 3G
Video calling: 3G only
Superfast internet: 3G and HSDPA (3G+) only
Basic internet on handsets: 2G and 3G
Mobile TV: 3G only
Features like You Tube can only be used using 3G reception, using You Tube on 2G coverage will offer pixelated viewing.
If you are using an old sim card, you may need a new one as some sim cards given out are only 2G compatible, I know for a fact that Orange still sometimes gives these out especially during the free sim offers, it shouldn't be a problem ordering a new sim and you will be able to keep your same number as well.

Re: T Mobile and 3G
Yeah most 3G phone batteries burn quick when they use 3G signals.
However the INQ phone range differ to that, the battery lasts a lot longer and my phone never freezes like the Sony Ericsson I had.

Re: T Mobile and 3G
Its funny to say that the T-Mobile and 3 3G infrastructures have merged, yet I don't see any difference, my reception on 3 is better than it is through T-Mobile and my 3 reception is always higher than the Orange 2G back up reception. Shame on you Orange!
So if T-Mobile 3G and Hutchison 3G have merged there 3G networks, Orange is then going to merge its business with T-Mobile meaning it will merge its 2G network together then Orange 3G will join T-Mobile and 3, That means its gonna be like one big network
3 will be using the merged Orange/T-Mobile 2G reception
3,T-Mobile and Orange will eventually be using the same infrastructure
One big happy network, so aint it time to say goodbye to termination rates Orange and T-Mobile?
