iPhone help! :(
Basically, woke up this morning to find my litle one "messing" with my iPhone. Basically, shes set a passcode on my phone and I can' get around it, even a restore doesn't help.
Any suggestions?

HHHmmm I don't know to be honest but you could try putting it in DFU mode and reformatting it?
Mind you it may not work, just an idea tho.

Re: iPhone help! :(
Indeed.
DFU with a complete rebuild of the phone will overwrite the 'keychains.db' file, which will (in turn) remove the passcode.
You will lose all of the data that was on the 'phone. You can get this back by restoring your backup, but this will put the code back on (as you've established).

Yup. I had to move it to another machine. How strange. The little monkey, can't believe she figured her way around it. I'm in the middle of the fresh install. Not worried about data.
Thanks

Re: iPhone help! :(
Mind you if she's set the erase option it will soon erase all the data on the phone too (if he keeps putting the wrong number in I mean)

Yup
All the more reason to have a passcode on there that you know in the first place

Yup tried it once, as I used to have a PIN on it and I thought she might of just turned it on at first but nope, did the "wait 15 minutes" stuff. So waited and just left it, just incase.
It's downloading the updates and restoring at the moment. Nightmare.

Re: iPhone help! :(
Well dude - I'm glad you're getting it sorted.
I can't update mine at the moment (to 3.1.2 anyway ) - so I'd be pretty stuck if this happened to me is all I can say.

Yup, so far. Thank you. WHo would of thought it, a 3 year old figuring out how to use an iPhone. Just means, when I go to bed, i'm going to have to hide it in a better place. I only, kept in so close (under the pillow) last night as I was on call. Little monkey she is lol

Re: iPhone help! :(
Put a code on it that you know, then she can't mess with it.
I guess you're a victim of Apple's drive to make the iPhone easy to use

I'm considering a buyout from o2. I'm on 3.1.2 now.

Re: iPhone help! :(
I'm still jailbroken and don't want to fiddle with it. I think it's worth the £15 it'll cost me to get it properly unlocked.
I'm still on 3.0.1
