T-Mobile unlimited texts and web for £10 a month

I'm not sure if this has been posted before but T-mobile have recently changed their pay and go tariffs and now give you free internet and texts for life.

(must be activated before 31st January 2010 to qualify)

For a £10 top up you can now get unlimited texts and unlimited web which lasts for 30 days and this WON'T eat into that £10 top up so you can use that for calls and picture messages.

Quote:
We don't think it should cost you the earth to have fun. That's why we're bringing you FREE internet and texts for life with our pay as you go offers/SIM. Simply top up £10, and the following month you can start texting and surfing for FREE. And top up £10 each month to get FREE texts and internet for life!
Other Stuff.
Calls to T-mobile phones - 8p a minute
Calls to other mobiles and landlines - 25p a minute
Picture message - 20p
Voice Mail - 10p a minute

If you fail to top up £10 the next month these tariffs apply.
Texts to T-Mobile phones: 5p
Texts to other networks : 10p
Internet access : £1 a day maximum

Re: T-Mobile unlimited texts and web for £10 a month

I got this with my new phone - T-Mobile Pulse (Which is fantastic by the way). The SIM needs to be activated before the 31st of January to qualify

Re: T-Mobile unlimited texts and web for £10 a month

Thanks for the 'activated by date' added to main post now.

Is it possible to check my balance from my hand set so it gets displayed on the screen?

Any idea what their definition of unlimited is for internet and texts?

Re: T-Mobile unlimited texts and web for £10 a month

Undercut O2 by £5, hopefully they will match it.

Bit of a shame as i've left T-Mobile for O2 and their £15/month unlimited web but at least the reception is better. I probably won't change back.

Re: T-Mobile unlimited texts and web for £10 a month

The reason i'm changing is T-mobile is £5 cheaper than my current 02 deal and it gives me great reception.

Yes it's a SIM extras option

Internet is 40Mb a day, can't find a definition of the texts (Apart from you can't send to over 200 different numbers in a month!)

Be aware though that the unlimited bits don't kick in until the 2nd month. Internet until unlimited starts is £1 a day and the texts are 10p each so depending on your use you may spent a fair bit in the first month

You also can't at any stage add any other offer on e.g boosters

Re: T-Mobile unlimited texts and web for £10 a month

Im on the VM 200 mins / 200 texts for £10 month - but for the last two months they have upped it to "unlimited" texts (which is actually 3,000 a month)

Can you add rewards or international items to your tariff? If not does it warn you ,you are about to mess up your tariff by adding them?

Doesn't seem to be one online, but it's under SIM Toolkit on my phone.

We're afraid that you can only be part of one of our top-up reward offers at any time, so you won't get Little Extras when you join with this offer. If you try to opt in to another top-up reward or buy one of our 30-day Boosters, then you'll have to opt out of this reward first. If you opt in to another reward prior to making your first top up, you won't get this reward. And if you move price plans to our Text Appeal plan you'll lose this reward. You can opt out of this reward at any time by texting STOP TEXTWEB to 441. Once you've opted out of this reward then you won't be able to opt back in again.
