in-coming calls

Hi all
Can anyone help please!!

I have a BT line but I pay through SKY I can ring out with no problems, but no one can ring in?

I have taken the front off the box and plugged the phones in one at a time but still have the same problem. I am having no problems with the net, I have spoken to BT and SKY who say it is an internal problem and not the line.

any ideas!!

Re: in-coming calls

Are you getting a ringing tone when you call the line? Ring the number from a mobile and then pick up the handset. Does it connect the call?

If it does then your line voltage is low and an engineer will be required.

Re: in-coming calls

First question is who gets line rental, next is have you tried a known working phone on the line? (borrow a phone if needed)
