According to sources with knowledge of the launch, BT will introduce the next generation of BT Vision service within the next few weeks, introducing greater interactivity with its on-demand content library. Plans for the next generation of the service include the use of a system of personalised recommendations to tailor content to the tastes of the watcher to improve the experience.

I wonder it's coming on all platforms be the look of it , it's interesting to see how these companies integrate social media into their TV products , Sky seem to be developing this on companion apps with their 10% stake in Zeebox.

Re: BT Vision gets social

I would have thought that a bit of FTA HD would be higher on the priority list? That, and their core network upgrades enabling multicasting to support true IP channels?

They are going to replace freeview with youview so my guess is that their HD PVR's are already work in progress.
