Signal problems

Hi there, I have a tv in my main living area that has sky. I recently bought a tv for my extension however once connected I am finding it difficult receiving a picture. I have linked an aerial from the main tv to the new tv and have completed an automatic search for channels. I was hoping to have a clear picture for free view tv and to be able to watch sky. Can someone help me or put me in touch with someone who can? I live in G66 area.
Thanks Colin

Re: Signal problems

The coax run to the new set is probably too long to work without an amp in the circuit. Also if you are using the RF output from the Sky box this channel will be in analogue, so unless you have an analogue tuner in the new TV (most now don't have them) you won't see the output from the Sky box.
