change sky channels from all rooms
Hi,
I am moving into a new property v. soon and have to present a wiring schematic to the electrian for the TV cabling.
My requirement is to have a SKY HD+ box and a SKY+ Box both in the loft within a computer cabinet. I understand the outputs to the dish and the power requirements to the box.
I need to prepare the cable for 4 TV's within seperate locations within the house. I want all 4 channel's to be able to watch different sky channels if possible.
Can this be done with just two sky boxes?
What cables need to be ran to the two TV's which will receive HD and the two TV's which will just watch normal sky.
Then how will i enable the change of channels in each invidual room.
If anybody has a schematic which i could adopt that would be great.
I am not technical but understand the very basics, i was thinking of running two long scart leads from both boxes to two TV's and then run normal coax from both boxes to the other (using the RF output) however this will only enable a mirror of each Sky box which is not really what i would like to acheive.
Hope you can help
