Ross Satellite and Receiver from B&Q - Splitting the Output

I recently got the Ross dish and receiver (SD) for £25 from B&Q and managed to successfully point it at Hotbird to get the free Polish channels. However, my next challenge is to "split" the output from the receiver so it can go to two devices, a TV and a video sender.

Currently, the receiver only has one output, an AV cable and we have to manually switch the cable from the TV everytime we want to put it to the video sender to watch it upstairs.

Is there a way to split the AV cable output (well, the 3 cables red/yellow/white), so it can go to two devices at the same time? Or is there a better way to do this, perhaps using the only other output on the receiver, RS232 I think?

(Sorry if this is a basic question).

Use the scart lead (should be active the same time as the red/yellow/white component leads.

Scart lead to your TV and component to your TV sender.. If both though require component then there are scart to component leads easily available.

There is no scart out from the receiver. There is only one AV (component) and one RS232 output.

Re: Ross Satellite and Receiver from B&Q - Splitting the Output

You need an AV splitter then or a switch box..

Something like this switch would do
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/3-Way-Audio-Vi...item3a61dd0576

Though that one is in HK you should be able to find one from a UK seller (also lots of cables on there with splitters. Each splitter goes on the sat ports and enables you to plug two cables into it)
