I'll take one of them, seeing as it has 10000GB!

Re: For the Smallworld customers here is the Smallworld HD+ Box

Will they now be under the Ofcom bracket that Sky Sports HD should be offered to them?

Re: For the Smallworld customers here is the Smallworld HD+ Box

imo its a horrible ugly design i dont like it at all, however Topfield make good satellite receivers so im sure they'l perform well. i do like that its free unlike Sky's 1TB receiver & their 50MB broadband is cheaper then VM aswel like without a phone line, its just ashame that Smallworld is not available in my area :o(

Hi

We're talking to Sky Wholesale about taking all the HD channels, but the Ofcom deal was struck for Sky Sports 1 and 2 whereas we take all the Sky Sports channels. I am sure we'll get the Sky Sports HD channels over the next few months but it is taking a little time...

Kind regards

Hi

Sorry you don't like the design - it's been well received on the whole but I accept its very much a personal thing. It is very quiet though, which is a good thing for a PVR these days. And I agree that Topfield make good boxes - they've been excellent to deal with.

The HD picture quality is very good...way ahead of Freeview for example, which is heavily compressed.

Its a shame you can't get us - I wished we covered more of the country - and thanks for the comments.

Kind regards

They've come a long way since they were hanging their entire broadband service from a single fast ethernet port at Demon

Nah. For the non-DOCSIS 3 stuff they most recently used Motorola Surfboard 5101s, for DOCSIS 3 I believe the Motorola Surfboard 6120 modem.

These evidently work well with the BSRs they use as CMTS on their network.

Yes we find it works well to stay with the same manufacturer, although Motorola have now sold this division (making CPE) so we are currently sourcing a new Docsis 3 modem. We are also keen to have one with wireless built-in. We have a couple of options on trial at the moment, and so far so good.

Kind regards
