Indoor Aerial
I am just moving in to my new house and I am Virgin installed downstairs so the main TV is sorted but the problem I have is I just want freeview upstairs but there is no aerial point upstairs so I need a indoor aerial upstairs, can anyone recommend a good indoor aerial so I can get a decent picture, I am not looking for anything to expensive but don't mind paying alittle extra if its worth it.

Re: Indoor Aerial
First things first - can you run your postcode through the Wolfbane predictor and post the results please.

Re: Indoor Aerial
From the wolfbane results it looks as if you may be close enough to a transmitter to use an indoor aerial. A lot however will depend on the intervening tapography, and even the design of your house. Have a look at the rooftop aerials around your location. If they are fairly small you might get away with it. If not, you will certainly have problems.
If you do decide to buy an aerial, try to find a retailer that will allow you to return it if it doesn't work adequately.

Re: Indoor Aerial
One with variable gain is a good idea, but as I suggested, make sure you can return it and get your money back if it doesn't work.

Re: Indoor Aerial
I actually get a good picture with an 'el cheapo' set top aerial that I found in a Poundshop. However, I am on a hilltop in Lincolnshire and probably have a better line of sight than most to the transmitter.

Re: Indoor Aerial
Where my new house is, its at the top the hill so signal should hopefully be decent enough for the televisions upstairs.
