What do you think of the new Sky Sports News layout
I think it looks terrible, very small text for the scores and just looks as they have tried to squeeze to much on screen

The cynic in me suggests this is to promote Sky Sports News HD, but I can't believe Sky would ever do anything like that...
As for what I think of the layout, I like the appearance, however, I agree with your gripes.

Re: What do you think of the new Sky Sports News layout
i like the look, more thing move so it dosent burn in the plasma as easily
and they have done a good job by putting more infomation on the screen and making the text smaller imo, as many people these days have bigger TV's
and being sky they obviously would want to promote their HD channel blah blah blah..

I'm glad they've finally moved to at least widescreen. The full 16:9 graphics marks the first of a big step that I hope other channels will take.

I like it but I agree the the text for the latest scores is too small, especially if your eyesight's not 100%

Re: What do you think of the new Sky Sports News layout
Has nobody noticed how close the text to the left of the screen is?
I was watching the Arshavin interview and his head was passed the 4:3 frame shot and so much space to the right of the screen.
Another was the advertising of the Champions League (CL) match of Tottenham v Young Boys, it was so close to the top of the screen and the logo of the CL had been cut off.
On my old CRT widescreen in another room some video footage was being shown. It had a red LIVE motif on the left of the screen and the L was cut off.
