Complete Signal Failure

Hi peeps
New to Cable/freeview TV so help would be appreciated
I live in RH19 - East Grinstead
I have a relatively new (2 years) Ariel, Wolsey WFAV25 Masthead Amplifier & PSU - all installed by an Ariel company. All was OK until 2 weeks ago when all signals failed (digital and analogue) - I think I am pointer to Croydon, certainly north of EG.
I suspect the Wolsey kit has failed. Is this normal? I am about to order a complete new set of kit from Amazon. Do you have any other ideas. (Have checked all fuses, plugs and connections)
Thanks
Mike

Re: Complete Signal Failure

Either the Amp, PSU or a coax connection has failed somewhere. I would check the coax first before buying new kit. If your aerial points north and you get BBC1 London local progs you're on Crystal Palace.

Re: Complete Signal Failure

Yes - thnx for reply. That's my view - but I don't think its coax as its fairly new and has not been moved at all. I am guessing a component in the PSU or Amp has failed breaking the connection as there is no signal at all even when I switch to analogue and plug the cable from the Ariel directly into the TV.
Do these amps etc fail much?
