Is it possible to change the lnb to freesat and to have it going to a freesat box. You don't have to change the dish to a specified freesat dish do you?

Hi. The forum you created this thread in would have prevented people answering. I have moved it to the correct forum, and changed the title into something that describes the problem a little better.

You just need a dish that is working properly and pointed in the correct direction. It's not the LNB you change to get freesat just the card or box in use. The lnb is only changed if you need more feeds to the satellite box or if the current one is not working.

So if I wanted to change the single lnb for a quad lnb, for linking to 4 tvs which one should i buy? Is one any good that picks up freesat or could I get away with a universal one?

The freesat LNB (as well as sky lnb's) are all universal. If you want to use more than one receiver or a receiver with more than one tuner you will need a dual or quad lnb, just check the mount diameter but I believe that 99% of them these days are standard

So if I buy a universal quad lnb from somewhere like amazon then it would work with a freesat receiver bought from Argos?

Just been told that the dish is not high to get a clear signal so I'm off to find a TV man to do the job. Thanks everybody.
