Sky paper bill.

Can someone please tell me, where can a sky paper bill be paid? Post office, bank, etc.. And, is there a charge for paying over the counter? I know there is a non-dd charge of about a fiver, but is there a further admin charge for paying at the bank? Like there is with some mobile phone contracts. ...anyone got any clues?

Yes you can pay over the post ofice counter or at the bank which it specifices on the bill. Look for the Giro logo or the bank logo and if the post office "supports" that bank you can again pay there.

Re: Sky paper bill.

It costs £5 for the non-direct Debit admin fee and the post office/bank will charge about £2 over the counter.

£7 to pay a bill!!!

Re: Sky paper bill.

If the bill has a barcode you should be able to pay using PayPoint which at least saves the post office charge.

Re: Sky paper bill.

They don't though, well my mates one didn't. Because Sky originally intended customers to pay by Direct Debit or Continuous Credit card payments which works the same way as Direct Debit but from a Credit Card.

You would have to ask your bank for the sort code and account number linked to the Sky Direct Debit mandate. This is legitimate infomration you can ask your bank for.

Once you have that, you can simply make BACS payments to Sky, making sure you enter your full Sky account number (on your bill) as the payment reference.
