Thumbs down Contacting Sky through their website

Hi,

Has anyone had any luck contacting Sky through their website:
https://mysky.sky.com/portal/site/sk...contactus/kana

Have now tried twice, 1st attempt got the automated reply, then nothing more.

Left it a week, still nothing so tried again.

Did get a response this time but all it said was "I am sorry, but it is not clear from your email what your enquiry is in connection with."
I've replied back to that, but it's again gone all quiet.

Looks like I'm going to have to phone them after all, but just wondering if it's usually that bad.

Cheers,
Mike

Have had a couple of responses, trouble is you need to be very careful about what drop downs you pick as otherwise it goes to the wrong department and they will often bin it instead of getting it to the right people. What's the issue you need help with?

Re: Contacting Sky through their website

Trying to cancel Sky. Got the right options, Cancellations -> Cancel Sky TV

Also thought that would make it quite clear what my query was, but they managed to get confused by that!!!

Still no response from them, but didn't get a chance to phone them last night either, but will in the next day or so.

Re: Contacting Sky through their website

Call the cancellations team, they normally look to turn people round where possible but if you are out of the 12 month contract period then there isn't much they can do to turn you around if you are sure you want to leave. 08442 414141, call before 6pm if possible or after 10pm as the time in between is peak time and a pain in the rear queue wise.

Re: Contacting Sky through their website

Didn't know they were open so late, was thinking they would shut at 8pm, don't know why!

But am definitely cancelling, well out of the 12 months, and I unplugged the Sky+ box a week ago!

Re: Contacting Sky through their website

Just phoned Sky, answered very quickly and very friendly & helpful, and now given my notice to cancel.

I mentioned about the two times I contacted from the website and the woman said she could see them on my account, but no real idea why nothing had happened, but said there would be no more to pay after 5th Sept even though my months notice is from today.

So top marks to the Sky call centre.

Re: Contacting Sky through their website

Yep they can see any attempt at contact (either direction) via web so someone will probably have a few questions thrown at them. At least it's sorted now, sometimes biting the bullet and calling is just easier as long as you get the right agent lol
