Sky sub. No direct debit.

I've got freesat from sky, and i wanna upgrade to a subscription so i can get some extra channels. My question is this.. Do i have to pay the monthly bill by direct debit? I really don't want to. Is it just a simple case of ringing sky, telling them the package i want, them sending me a card, then a monthly bill? Or do i have wishful thinking?

I think this is possible, if you already have a card they should be able to activate a subscription on it. Though I think there is an extra charge for non D/D payment.

Re: Sky sub. No direct debit.

Yeah I think you just give them the viewing card number and they will activate whatever subscription you want on it.

Re: Sky sub. No direct debit.

For anyone else who reads this thread.. Phoned freesatfromsky, after speaking to a supervisor they agreed to invoice me each month instead of direct debit. And the non-dd charge is £4.99
