Alternative to Virgin Connections
I am moving to my new flat and unfortunately there is no Virgin media servies in the flat. I rang up virgin and they said that they can't help.
I was also planning to use one of the Cable cracked boxes to use. I beleive they will work only with virgin media?
Are there any alternative ways to use the cracked boxes?
Are there any different cable providers.
PLEASE HELP !!!!!

Re: ALternative to Virgin Connections
Sorry, but if Virgin will not provide cable services to your flat then you are out of luck, as we do not allow discussion of how to obtain services illegally.
Did they say why there are no services?
If you need cable, then you may be able to get BT Vision or Tiscali (assuming TalkTalk don't shut down the TV service).

Besides if there's no Virgin Media services in the flat - how did you think a cracked box might help?

Re: ALternative to Virgin Connections
I am in a similar position, having to move home at the end of august ( I make it sound so forced, I'm actaully moving in with my soon to be new wife) but there is no cable in the area. I would certainly never revert to trying to steal cable, but will miss it a lot.
It is strange as it is a new development, Barrats Homes actually, and I can't see why VM don't lay their cables in these new estates. How will their company expand if their coverage isn't?

Re: ALternative to Virgin Connections
If you have no Virgin Media cable service, what about using the 15GB mobile broadband service from Virgin Mobile

I was unaware VM's mobile broadband was that fast. The problem I have is the TV service. I have an HD tv and will more than likely go to Sky for hd channels.

It's not. Thats how much you can download in a month without being penalised.
