cable now has color problem

I just upgraded my cable tv to a digital cable box. Now the colors seem not right. Some people look OK, other channels people are a bit orange, and other channels are a bit green. So this does not seem a problem with my old analog tv.

is there a problem when converting from digital to analog via the digital box like this? Or am I at risk of having the same problem if I bought a new digital ready tv?
