NOTE: I do not work in the Media world so all the information on this list is subject to change.

Sky is in the process of updating the Viewing Cards with new ones.

=== August ===
10th. Ummah Channel will launch on Sky.
31st. Jetix and Jetix +1 will be rebranded as Disney XD and Disney XD +1 on Sky.

=== September ===
1st. BSkyB to put prices up by £1.50 extra per month.
1st. Sky Sports News will also join the Sports Pack.
9th. S4C will move from Mux A to Mux 2 on Freeview.
9th. S4C will close its Sbectel text service on S4C Digidol on Freeview.
30th. A UK wide re-tune will be needed to continue to receive Five, ITV4 and BBC Radio stations. At the same time, services will vacate Mux B on Freeview.
Living HD may launch on Sky possibly on Sky Channel 172.

Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Channel +1 will be rebranded as Universal Channel and Universal Channel +1 Sky Channels 130 and 150.

Channel M (Manchester Only).

2nd. BBC HD will launch on Freeview.
2nd. Channel 4 HD (except Wales) will launch on Freeview
2nd. ITV HD will launch on Freeview.

Colors may launch on Sky.
Living2 and Living2 +1 will be rebranded on Sky Channels 114 and 173.
RTÉ International may launch on Sky.
Sci Fi, Sci Fi +1 and Sci Fi HD will be rebranded as Syfy, Syfy +1 and Syfy HD on Sky Channels 129, 205 and 214.
Zee Muzic will be rebranded as Zing on Sky Channel 789.
Five are in the advanced stages of plans to roll out its Kids show Milkshake making it into an TV Channel.

5th. Sikh World will launch on Sky.
Teletext will cease all transmissions - analogue and digital - of its main text services including those on ITV, Channel 4 and Five.
Teletext will cease on Freesat Channel 986 and Freeview Channel 100.

Sky News HD to launch on Sky.

=== Before 2011 ===
Five HD will launch on Freeview.
S4C Digidol HD (Wales only) will launch on Freeview.
A comprehensive pull video-on-demand service for Sky+ HD.

Following the success of the 'Coming Soon to Virgin TV' thread Media Boy has now opened this thread to provide similar information for a range of Digital TV services.

As per the VM thread, Media Boy will collate all the information from his various sources and provide it to me once a week, indicating where the changes are and I will update the initial post to show the changes/amendments in bold.

In addition to that Media Boy will be on hand to answer any questions that arise and to provide links to other sources of information as they come up.

6th. Viacom will rebrand Paramount Comedy 1 and Paramount Comedy 1 +1 as Comedy Central and Comedy Central +1 on Sky Channels 126 and 127.
6th. Viacom will rebrand Paramount Comedy 2 and Paramount Comedy 2 +1 as Comedy Central Extra and Comedy Central Extra +1 on Sky Channels 128 and 159.

Now that's cool, I wonder if they will step up the import of new shows to match Comedy Central US? So Colbert and Daily show will feature on it?

I'm not happy with the endless rebranding of channels that seems to go on at the moment but you may well be right about colbert. As for Daily Show it'd be interesting to see what happens to More4s contract in that respect whether it'd be allowed on both or whether more4's contract trumps Comedy Central UKs or vice versa.

Fitness TV, which claims to be the UK's first digital TV channel dedicated to health and fitness, will launch free-to-air channel on Sky in June.

Sky+ HD viewers may got ITV HD via ''Add Channels''.

Sky+ HD customers whose boxes received yesterday's programme guide upgrade are able to manually add ITV HD to their lineups.
According to reports on Digital Spy, ITV HD may be accessed by going to the Add Channels menu and using the following settings: 11.427H, 2/3, 27500, channel 10510.

Channel U is to be rebrand as Channel AKA on Sky Channel 370.
Channel Fizz is to be rebrand as Channel Starz on Sky Channel 371.

Three new channels to launch on Freesat on Tuesday.

CNN is to launch on the Freesat electronic programme guide on March 24.
The international news channel will be available on channel 207, 24 hours a day.

As well as CNN launch March 24th will also see the launch of Rural TV and JML Home & DIY on Freesat Channels 403 and 808 respectively.

Rumoured Freeview News:

As you may know Film4 is to start broadcasting every day from March 30th at midday.

Gems TV (Channel 43) and Gems TV1 (Channel 44) is being rumoured on the web to be set to closedown on Freeview on March 29th.

CNN may start broadcasting from 8pm on March 30th - Info from Freeview Web site.

UKTV has unveiled the next phase of its rebrand, which has already led to the launch of brands such as Dave and Blighty, with lifestyle brands UKTV Style and UKTV Gardens to become Home and Really respectively.

UKTV Style will rebrand on 30 April, while UKTV Gardens will rebrand on 19 May. A new name and positioning for its third lifestyle brand - UKTV Food - has yet to be decided.

ZEE Muzic to be rebranded 'Zing'.

ZEE Network's music channel, ZEE Muzic, will be undergoing a major revamp in India and will be rebranded Zing from April.

The new look will be unveiled later this week in India with changes expected in the UK in weeks to come.

Update:

Zee Muzic will soon be rebrand as ''Zing''.

On April 14th will see the launch of ''The Sikh Channel'' on Sky and not January 2010 as posted on my list (Date 6th of April.)

Zee Network is to axe both Zee Gujarati ( on channel 811) and Zee Radio (on channel 0215) on Sky Digital on the 30th of April.

Starting in May: Sky will be in the process of updating the (household) Viewing Cards with new ones.

Cinémoi will now become a premium subscription channel on Sky Channel 839 from the 10th of May.
