i have sky+ at the moment and a friend has just gone over to virgin, they said i could have their sky+ box, but is it possible to use it? i'm not that savvy with this type of thing and wondered about viewing cards ect, and how to physically wire them together any help would be much appreciated, would be nice to have sky+ in 2 rooms without having to pay sky the £10 extra. tatmac.

It would for the free to air channels just by being connected to the dish but recording wouldn't work (you either have to have multiroom or pay sky to enable the recording feature)
