Sony DVD recorder+ digi tuner (rdr-hxd890)
Hi,

Planning to get a Sony DVD recorder with freeview built in.

All the paperwork and sales info says 'built in digital tuner'. Now, does this mean Freeview or somthing else? There is no freeview logo, so not sure what I would receive.

I ask as I want to have a tuner on the recorder and tuner in the TV, in order to watch one channel and record another.

Yes, it most likely means it's got built-in Freeview. But having 2 separate tuners depends on what TV model you have, and whether *that* has built-in Freeview.
