Cool V box but no remote...can anyone help?
Hi everyone. I bought a Vbox freeview 6 months ago for £40 which didn't require me to open any account with Virgin media and it always worked well. Unfortunatly I've lost the remote control while moving into my new flat. I have tried to get a new one from Virgin (both shop and customer service) but they say they cannot help me because I don't have an account with them and they don't sell anymore this kind of box. I have also bought an "all for one" remote suitable for freeview boxes but when programming the box should be on and not in stand by....but there's no way I can turn it on because it doesn't have any on/off button!
Does anyone know the code for the remote of the Vbox TVOV00034928 ???
or can anyone tell me how to do??? any suggestion will be appreciated as I am going mad!!!

Usually when you programme the remote it tells you to press the standby button to switch the box off.If the box is off then it will just switch on, to let you know the code was successful.

Thanks a lot mate!!!...you r a genius!!...if I only think that I've been told by the Virgin's sales assistant to ask Argos that would know better about that Vbox......
