top tv cI card

Hi Im looking for a ci card for top uo tv what sort of card do i need, do i need to have a topup tv ci card or can i get a equivelent?

The Common Interface unit (which I assume you are referring to) I am not really sure but I would have thought that they would be pretty specific to the TV and not to the Smart Card from the carrier?

my tv is a daewoo de dub 2850, I thought you could just buy any ci card with the series 2 encription on it and it would work, or buy a topup tv ci card

I'm not sure on the specifics, if CI works a bit like PCMCIA then it should be generic

I bought my tv with this ci card slot in the back and now i found out what it is and on the speck it says top up tv compatable
