Re: Will Sky find out....
The original question is irrelevant now. lol!
Switched to Sky One at 11pm last night - and poof, it just went off, same for Sky Two and a number of other channels. Oh well, at least I got to see Bones and Cold Case one more time.
There are still a couple of channels that the Sky box is good for though, so we'll keep it connected.

Re: Will Sky find out....
@Zingle, Don't worry mate just enjoy it, I had the same with NTL for ages. They gave me free broadband since day one and I didn't ever question it and never got charged for it when i left.
I just took it as payment for all the time spent on the phone to them.

I only found out yesterday after testing the batteries in the remote control for the old old black Sky box (where the viewing card now sits) in the bedroom.
The reason I ask is because, a few weeks ago I posed a question about giving my neighbour the Sky+ box. We still haven't given it to him, and now I don't know if I should.
If we give him the Sky+ box, he will direct the split cable from our satellite dish to his house. We will still use the old Sky single cable on the old Sky black box, which is also coming from our satellite dish.
Will the fact that he activates his Sky viewing card to work with the Sky+ box (coming from our dish), somehow 'flag' Sky to realize that another signal is hitting our old box, and is still able to view channels that we are not supposed to.
Sorry, but does that actually read right?

mr guy please read the highlighted sentence . Pay special interest to the underlined part of the highlighted post. Then apoligise to me and contact a mod because the certain thing you gave me for my post was totally undeserved. Then go sit in a corner and wish you didnt try a battle of wits with the zingle

Re: Will Sky find out....
Oh look your firmly found to be wrong in what you said to me but not a big enough person to admit it. Well thats fine by me and its plain for all to see
also how is it illegally obtaining services if they provide them by mistake? I think you have a chip on your shoulder over this issue and need to be a little less blinkered.

Re: Will Sky find out....
I am more than prepared to allow anyone access to my messages to see if I have indeed sent offensive PMs. I will not get drawn into a fight in this thread as I have to much respect for the forum and do not wish to break the rules.I have pointed out yourmistake to you mate . What I said was relevent to the OP . You jumped on me for no fair reason and when your error is pointed out to you you continue to try and belittle me. You show yourself for what you are I have no need to say anything against you

This must due to the fact that the "off" signal had been received yet so all channels were available. Despite Zing's friend having done the right thing they are obviously incompetent with managing that account so the consumer wins.
