What I currently pay

OK, with alot of you of here Virgin Media customers, I was wondering your opinion on this :

Sky TV: £21
Broadband : £10( get around 3meg)
Phone : varies
We only have the basic sky box, so therefore, have no HD/recording abilities

We pay around £40-£50, simply because my mum buys alot of the sit-up channels( virgin media television), and therefore, charges us £1.50 per call.

Would Virgin Media be a cheaper alternative in this situation, and does anyone know how much calling bid tv, speed auction or price-drop.tv costs from a VM landline?

Sorry if this is, again in the wrong place, not sure where else it could go

Re: What I currently pay

www.virginmedia.com/callcosts has a full breakdown of phoning any number from Virgin

As for the cost of the package with Virgin you would be looking at either £40.50 for a 2Mb broadband, Inclusive Weekend Calls and XL tv which is over 100 channels.

Alternatively you could go for £56 which would also give you Unlimited landline calls and 20Mbit broadband

I know, but we have 2 computers, which use the same connection, and are slightly wary with the download limits

Re: What I currently pay

Yeah, meant the one with sky broadband base- 2gb download limit, so would be very cautious when using it.

Re: What I currently pay

Heres the way I would look at it for £85 a month you can have

20MB Broadband
Unlimited calls in the day & weekend
V+ the recording plus HD service
plus an extra V Box where you like.

However, if your budget is tight,

then the 3 FOR £30 Might be of interest:

Just had a look at the VM site, the prices are all changed now since we were a customer. Am I right in saying though that the prices shown for the landline include line rental?
