Sky tv boxes and routers

Would i be right in saying that the routers given to customers by sky are still property of sky so if i've got say 3 i wouldnt be able to sell 2 of them,

Re: Sky tv boxes and routers

Erm yes they are as of Wednesday the 30th April 2008 as stated in the internal memo system. The customers will receive a SAE to return the "faulty routers" in, the router only becomes your property after 12 months.

Re: Sky tv boxes and routers

It's because up to now they didn't have the proper framework in place to handle returned equipment, this has now been resolved and they are looking to get the units back to:
A. Figure out what went wrong
B. Make sure people aren't actually causing the problems
C. Dispose of in a proper manner so that the units are disposed of in an enviromentally sound way if they cannot be repaired.

Re: Sky tv boxes and routers

As far as i know the routers and boxes arent faulty, for some reason a member of my family has been sent 2 routers and a number of sky boxes(some of them may be unopened), so if theyre the property of sky id call them up and ask for them to be picked up right

Re: Sky tv boxes and routers

If thats the case then yes give Customer services a call and ask about either a collection if possible of some way of the units being sent back at Skys cost.

if it gets the boxes off her hands then thats fine, i had thought of selling them but the right thing to do is to get hold of sky and tell them to pick them up
