The BBC's iPlayer video service will soon be available via the Nintendo Wii.

Just read digital spy and it said microsft and sony wre making to many demands for the iplayer and customzing it for their stores and so wii looked to be the easy option.

The PS3 browser uses the same old version of Flash that the Wii browser uses, so it could be possible in future.

iPlayer content can be viewed on the 360, but only by downloading it to a PC & then streaming using e.g. WMP11.

if you haven't tried you can view it now on your Wii if you have the internet channel. Just type in the address www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer - worked well when I tried it
