Sky Anytime

My Sky+ box is too old to receive Sky Anytime, has anyone been in a similar position and have upgraded to a newer box? If so how much did it cost and is it worth it paying for?

Thanks

In my opinion, unless you have the Movie channels then no its not worth it because half of the stuff it downloads are movies and you can't watch them unless you subscribe to that particular package, and even then it definitely isn't as good as VM's VOD system (when it works!) A new box direct from Sky is still £199 afaik.

Re: Sky Anytime

I don't have movies, so don't think I'll bother pestering Sky for an upgrade!

Re: Sky Anytime

Didn't cost us anything, we cancelled to go to VM, got messed about so rang up to see if we could delay the cancellation and were offered a brand new Sky+ box if we wanted to stay lol It depends on who you get on the phone, how they are doing on their daily/ weekly targets etc.

Re: Sky Anytime

I hate anytime, I'd rather be have the ability to turn off Anytime and have the space reserved for that given back to me to allow greater storage. At the moment, you can turn it off, but you don't get the space back. With HD, you can quickly fill up the space with a couple of HD movies.
