Couple of freeview questions

Hi everyone,

Just a few quick questions to those that know about freeview.

I'm thinking of buying a freeview box and checked my postcode in the online checker to see if services were available. A couple of years ago they were not but now it appears they are.
However, it says this:

Good news. You should be able to receive some Freeview channels now and the entire service after the digital switchover.

It says that the ITV channels, Channel4, and channel 5, as well as a few others, (all of which I currently get on terrestrial Tv) will only become available after the switchover in 2011.

Does this mean that I will not get these at all or will my freeview box get them as analogue instead and the others as digital or can't it do that ?

Thanks for your advice,

Much appreciated,

halcyon.

Re: Couple of freeview questions

You'll get them on analogue as normal and the digital side via freeview until they all switch to the digital frequencies.
