Shove it directly in the back of the Sky box - this will remove any cabling issues from the equation.
Edit - ahh - see you've done that.

still need help really dont know wot to do, i bought another magic eye same problem, plugged it into the rf2 on back of box and red light comes on! i dont know how to go about fixing this very frustrating. its a new build property, i have a communal sky dish, cables run into an amp, please help

dont know just a 2 way amp that feeds to both bedrooms

ok well that amp should work with sky is the amp turns on do u get the sky pic on the other tv

yes that all works fine, sky in other room but magic eye dont work through there, works when plugged into the sky box

there are outlet sockets in both bedrooms, living room it is a muti plate with sky connections, tv, radio and phone point on it

ok where is the amp located.

remove the input to the amp and plug the eye into the input cable

are u able to take a photo of the outlet socket in the bedroom as they may be wrong
