Sky Quad/multiroom

Evening All, I have ordered a Sky Quad off the net and i am just waiting for it to be delivered. I was reading another question about mulitroom and never found the full answer i was looking for. I am just wondering if anyone could help me.

I am going to install the Quad and know what i am doing there, but what i would like to know is:

i have two boxes both with cards one is just acting as a freeview box and the other one is a full package. Will the box that is just a freeview box be able to access the full sky through the other box or will it just stay as a freeview box???

to the forum.

I have moved your post out of the articles section (which is reserved for reference articles) into the main forum, which is for queries and help.

Re: Sky Quad/multiroom

It will stay as a freeview box, it knows nothing about any other boxes or cards. If you wanted to you could ask Sky to set you up with multiroom, which costs an extra 10quid a month, but both STB's will need connecting to the telephone lines so Sky can track both boxes.
