Hi,
I thought the same. Wasn't 14" a CRT size and the equal on LCD is 15". Maybe I'm wrong.

Whatever the size, try and listen to it in the shop, if that's where you are buying it.
I bought a 22" LG for my mother and the sound is crap. Even after adjusting the audio settings the news still sounds as thought it's coming from the bathroom!
