Top Up TV Anytime

Hey,

I ordered a viewing card for my top up tv anytime free home trial yesterday and was wondering how long it will take them to send the card. Not in a hurry, just wondering. Also, has anyone got the service and if they have, what do they think of it?

Got my viewing card yesterday, and I must say that it's pretty good. It downloaded a few things last night and no glitches in the picture at all.

Re: Top Up TV Anytime

I just bought one of these boxes today , as a PVR its pretty good with it being so cheap . I was a bit disappointed that it didn't have a viewing card in the box . I have noticed that the box doesn't actually download anything (other than firmware) . All the anytime programs are recorded during the night from the 3 anytime channels , so i would assume that means you can pick and choose the programs you want to download through the tv guide instead of having the box allocate space using the customise anytime menu .
Could someone who already has a card try this out? please

Re: Top Up TV Anytime

Yeah it was annoying that a card didn't come in the box, and that they wouldn't activate an old card either

In theory you should be able to disable the anytime thing and then pick what you want from the epg but you might be there for a while and which programs appear does change.

What would be nice is if they activated the usb slot to allow archiving of files off the machine as its quite easy to fill!

its better to enable the channels as you seem to get more hard disk space if you enable them than if you disable them eg if you disable them you get 70 hours personal recording space and 0 hours top up but with the ones i have enabled i get 85 hours top up and 25 hours personal which adds up to 110 hours. weird

TUTVA is crap yes your shown a number of channels that look good but you have no choice you get one download from what you selected if it's not to your taste to bad thats what you get.
As for the downloads sometimes they work sometimes they don't.
