connecting a tv aerial

connecting a tv aerial

please could anybody help me with the not so simple task of connecting the end part of a tv aerial onto the wire itself as i have no idea and am getting very frustrated. any help with this matter would be very much appreciated.

Good instructions, the connectors we got from screwfix had a small grub screw that secured it to the core wire. Solder wasn't needed thankfully. Important thing to remember is to be careful when removing the braiding and make sure it's all nice and secure otherwise the end will fall off and annoy you

Have a look at the following site which should give you a better idea of how to attach the end connector to your coaxial cable. There are different types of connectors shown so I hope that one of them is of the type you are trying to use.
