There's no need to apologise. That's what most people here think.
Regarding dyslexia: I don't think anyone is trying to make fun of the condition, but it seems rather coincidental that all the people that post positive comments about Play TV appear to suffer from it.

I just think it's funny .... I really hope that the likes of Craig get the service they are hoping for, but I doubt it very much!! As for dyslexia, my wife suffers from it ... but manages to chat to her mates quite well with the help of ... oh what's it called .... that's right, a spell checker it seems that these people suffer the rare VPDS dyslexia (Vicky Pollard Dyslexia Syndrome) now that really ****es me off, that people would claim a real problem to help there **** that they are spouting
Please correct me angelabbie18, call me a discriminatory person ... I'm more than happy with that, but please if you cannot, get a life and stop being a dick people have far more better things to do than listen to such bs!!
Feel free to delete this post if you wish I somehow, do not think you will ... (I hope)

Would you please translate that into proper written English. There is no need for text speak on forums after all you are not rationed to a certain number of characters.

Re: Play TV?
I've just joined these forums, as I've been following the thread with interest and wanted to add my tuppence-worth.
I was contacted by these guys a few months back, on the back of me being a Sky subscriber (at least that's what I assume).
It appears to me that all those in support of PlayTV are:
* New posters (as am I, admittedly)
* Illiterate
* Incredibly passionate about how great the - as yet non-existent - service is
Those points alone have made my mind up. I haven't checked the Experian records as suggested, but I don't think I really need to. It sounds shaky, I don't see how they can provide the QoS necessary to deliver what they promise, I can't see that the picture quality will be acceptable, and I doubt there'll be anything I actually want to watch.
Fights from Canada? No thanks.
Low-bitrate streams from foreign countries that I can receive free on my PC? No thanks.
I'm happy with Sky for now, until a really viable alternative for my area comes along.
As a footnote, what really stands out in terms of intellectual capacity is that people can come on here to wax lyrical about a product without understanding how transparent their ridiculous propaganda posts are.
Anyway, as I said this is just my opinion after following the diatribe throughout the thread
Great forum by the way, and hope to spend a lot of time here

Are you able to post a copy (scanned or typed) or the installation letter?

That's a shame, because I have not been rude in any way to you, and I was hoping you could answer the questions I asked (twice) as that would help me, and others, make an informed decision.

The best way to apologise would be to answer people's questions.
Otherwise there's no point in apologising. You appear to be the only person in the forums to have it installed. If you want to help people make an informed decision, could you provide a full channel line-up please, as requested?
Then maybe people can look at things more objectively, rather than just being constantly told how great it is.

Hi there,
I don't understand why you guys even bother? after reading through the whole thread it's obvious this whole playtv thing is a load of bull....
@angelaabbie: you saw Die Hard 4 for free??? wow, that's so generous of FOX studios to provide PlayTv with a free licence of their brand new,$150.000.000+ blockbuster.
and then all this talk about 700 plus channels and all the content.. bother to explain how a new start-up can afford all those licences? yeah, thought so...
and,quite frankly dear angelabbie,i don't believe u r dyslexic,i just believe u lot at PlayTv can't spell!!
bye and good luck with rip-off IPTV....

Re: Play TV?
I am pleased you got your confirmation letter, but they really aren't doing you any favours (no matter how they word it) by saying they won't charge you because they are not supplying you the channels they promised.
Good luck on your installation on the 23rd - please let us know how it goes.
