Anyone Good With Cables & Wiring Stuff?

Hi

Firstly, sorry for throwing this on here - I couldn't find anywhere more suitable for it.

I have a motorhome and need to connect the following items together - but I really dont know what cables to plug where.

Anyone have any idea ?

Front TV
Rear TV
Recordable DVD
Satellite Dish
Satellite Receiver
Cable TV Input
TV Aerial
SPLITTER BOX

Ive attached a .doc with a picture of it all with the colour coded sockets etc.

What plugs into what?

THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP ON THIS - Im pulling my hair out.

Paul

Re: Anyone Good With Cables & Wiring Stuff?

I tend to work backwards for this.
Let me know if you get stuck somewhere.

Start with your TV's both should have a RF feed going back to the Splitter.

The Splitter should have a RF input from the DVD Recorder

The DVD recorders input should come from the Sat Box

The Sat Box should have a feed from the Dish and from the Cable box

The Cable Box should have a cable feed, and the Aerial.

Re: Anyone Good With Cables & Wiring Stuff?

Hi - thanks for your reply

We've found the previous locations for some of the cables, so at least we have SOME to start with now.

Ive re-drawn my layout and marked the OK cables with a solid line.

Ive marked where I THINK the other cables should go with dotted lines.

Any chance you could take a look please ?

Cheers if you can.
Paul

Re: Anyone Good With Cables & Wiring Stuff?

That looks reasonable.

Its not how i would wire it myself, but it should work for your needs
