Question Repeated programs ?

I've got a quick question.

How are most of the channels on TV going to survive into the future ? Lets face it, most of the channels are showing nothing but repeats anyway and not many channels are bringing new programs out. Are we set for a mind numbing lifetime of the same repeated programs or will some of the smaller channels start to produce some original stuff of their own.

I think there are quite a few new programmes out there across the channel lineup but it depends on what you like to watch. I also think these get lost in the sea of repeats. I guess that this happens because repeats are a cheap and easy way of adding extra channels.

Re: Repeated programs ?

Seems to me that most of the repeats are of programmes that were junk to start with & don't merit a repeat showing.

The really good programmes that deserve to be repeated are simply being ignored or if they do get repeated they're shown at ridiculous times or on obscure channels & not advertised in the slightest.

Re: Repeated programs ?

I wonder how they can justify even asking for money for the same old cr@p being repeated time after time, not only do some channels repeat the same program/episode 3 times a day!, but you have to suffer them again at a later time being repeated again and again, the worst one for repeats i found is 1 animal planet i think it is, some guy and his wife go to thailand zoo to see the conditions which the apes etc kept in, i must of been unfortunate enough to flick channels and see this on every few months, its a disgrace to expect people to pay for the same old cack, so how they going to generate revenue i have no idea, cos i wont be paying for it and wouldnt blame others if they didnt.
