Applied to have Sky once !!!

Hi, this is a true fact
I phoned to have Sky installed once, about 10 yrs ago, they could not do the job with a standard free installation, why ??? lol because my house is in the wrong position (of all things), no matter which side of the house they checked, none had a line of sight to the satellite in the sky, they wanted me to pay like £30 for an extention to move the dish out further to see the satellite.
I basically said clear-off and don't come back lmao.

I could have got a line of sight, using a bit of common sense.
I live in a semi, sort of facing roughly NE one side and SW the other, my house being on the NW side of the semi, so they did not do the job because I would not pay extra.
I had an old dish that picked-up the older satellites sky had about 10yrs ago, but never a new type dish.

So always been on cable since they laid the cables.
