Sky Catch-Up Weekend

Sky are now planning a "catch-up" weekend over Easter - repeating the last few episodes of the more popular series (Lost, 24, Battlestar etc).

A "catch-up weekend" is another way of saying - another chance to see a lot of repeats, which have already been shown several times before

Would that be "catching up" on the "catch ups"?

Re: Sky Catch-Up Weekend

Just shows the sky are becoming desperate to get people to change.
They cut the channels in hope that 1000's would come flocking over to Sky

Unfortunatly only a 100 a day disconnected from VM,
This is about the normal number of customers who want to disconnect since it doesnt mention how many are signing up

Example:
200 Sign up and 100 Disconnect, there is no issue for VM
When I worked there, you would have over 500 agents across the centre, not to mention the other call centres across the country, to which I alone used to get approx 10 customers a day wanting to disconnect in an 8hr period.

Customer Relations would then save the customer from disconnecting
So you times those 10 by 500 agents you get 5000 customers but you dont see 5000 customers disconnecting.

Most was due to comparing the services to Sky believing its far superior however there about the same except VM has more to offer recard VOD and V+ and its all under 1 company (Therefore better)

Sky resulted to advertising and still they are stugling to get their 180,000 customers back, so now they are having to result to repeating the same programming.

To me that is going down in standards not going up and will feel sorry for the SKY customers who are paying for a service that will only be full of repeats for the next couple of weeks

So I guess Sky will have come to an agreement on carriage costs with VM by then

Re: Sky Catch-Up Weekend

Either Sky are trying for another deal with Virgin and will be trying to look like the good guys by re-showing all the stuff we've missed or they are trying to rub our faces in it saying here's the programs you could be watching. Sign-up to Sky and watch the re-run of the re-run on Sky 2.
