i called sky yesterday to switch from virgin and was offered sky+ for £49 for box and install, it normally would cost £159, not a bad deal.

But has nothing to do with Cable TV Services?

Think this is yet another thread about Sky that needs moving.

True - perhaps everything to do with Sky such as this should be moved to: Other Digital TV Services Discussion folder

Re: sky givin sky+ deal for x virgin customers

Well moved to VM 14/02/07 - Sky cancelled, shuts off 17/03/07.
Moved to VM good package deal.
We watch Sky One.
VIP with VM at £85 a month phoned them 01/03/07 (moaned no Sky One) got £10.25 off for 6 months.
Received offer from Sky via post today - Free refurbished Sky+ Box & free standard installation. Saying that no idea want they need to do to install got 2 standard Sky boxes now.

Can't decided on what to do probably back to Sky but not certain yet
