Have a look at the comparison page, it compares like for like.

I do work for Sky, in retention as it happens, I spek to would be Virgin customers, and more often than not they end up staying, Ive also heard what Virgin have been telling their prospective customers. And Ive seen their adverts. I also used to work retention for BT, and heard what the cable companies would tell people to get them to join, needless to say, I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

Sky have the superior TV service, theyre making strides in the technology that the cable companies are just copying. Ok, their BB services suffers because of poor BT lines, but their phone service is bloody hard to beat, but their BB is CHEAP. I wouldn't pay £25 for a 1Mb service as Ive heard some people do. Im planning to go for Sky TV, Sky Talk and Sky BB. Beacuse its the best deal Ive seen, and I'm not saying that as a Sky employee...
erm ok hang on

does sky have free email? no u have to pay for it through your telephone line.
does sky have 3 tuners?no they have 2 watch one and record one(thats when weathers not dodgy)
does sky have 20 meg broadband?no we will soon .nice free upgrade coming soon.

do sky have vod? hahaha erm ok they are trying yes..but come on its clear to all that they are rather trying to copy vm(cant beat em join them)

do sky do vip? they wish they could
do sky have mobile enough said.

vm gets free servicing anytime
sky gets servicing up to 12 months then ur paying

superior? who says? and since when is cheap better? i dont believe that for one minute your not just another sky fanboy

theres nothing out there that can touch virgin media at the minute
just my opinion dont shoot me lol

The poster was talking about the See Surf package or whatever it's called. So in answer to your question, yes, Sky does has free email. Not free via the TV, but my experience of using email through ntl's STB was that it took an age to compose, often crashed the box and never actually sent or recieved any messages.

What's right for one person is crock for another. As you say, it's just your opinion and I am happy you're enjoying it.
