sky low battery icon?

sky low battery icon?
low battery icon is showing on my miniguide, i've replaced the remote batteries but its still showing, what do i need to do to get rid of it?

It does stay there a while usually, i've changed mine recently and it seemed to stay there for ages!

Try turning the box off at the mains for a minute or so and it should be gone.

fair enough... btw is it just me or is the sky remote really heavy on batteries? We've only had sky just over a month and already im changing the remote batteries

could just be the batteries sky supplied with the remote are cheap rubbish.

I have had Sky + now for 18 months and changed the batteries 3 times

got rid of the icon, rebooted the skybox.
