help with AV sender setup

Hi all

I'm a new member and need some help.

Sorry if i've posted this in the wrong place

Does anyone have any diagrams or advice for connecting a AV sender to sky and a 2nd TV upstairs.

I'm a complete novice so the more basic the better

Thanks

Presumably the av sender uses a scart socket connection?

Wiring should simply be:

Sky scart #1 > living Room TV scart #1
Sky scart #2 > Av sender scart sender (STB) unit
AV sender receiver (TV) unit > 2nd TV scart #1

Positioning of the sender's receiver may prove important so you have line of sight with the remote controller. You'll then have to look at how the sender unit connects the remote signalling to the STB.

Re: help with AV sender setup

Rob

Thanks for your quick response.

Hooked up as per your direction. Yes the connections use scarts

Got sky through the TV downstairs, but not upstairs. I moved the sender/receiver around and tried the different switches, but no joy.

I'll have another go tomorrow, and let you know how i got on.

Thanks again
