normal tv with freeview

i can't seem to get a good signal for my normal one to four channels not using my freeview box, im sure i used to. anyone know why?

no haven't changed the aerial. is it possible to get normal tv when the freeview is plugged in

Maybe there is some work going on at the transmitter. Have a look at
http://www.bbc.co.uk/reception/transmitters/today.shtml

Digital terrestrial only needs 'just enough' signal to operate correctly whereas analogue pictures will get gradually worse (snowy) as the signal level drops. This could be what you are experiencing if the transmitter is on reduced power.

If this is a permanent problem and your transmitter is not on reduced power then maybe the aerial has moved slightly or there's water in the cable.
